Anook Beta Version 1.1 is online (Live Streams, Follow Functions)

Check it out: http://www.anook.com

Hey everyone,

thank you all for your support in the last weeks. Going live was a blast and it’s getting so much crazier as we have a ton of stuff coming your way, this was just the beginning…

Our first update after our first beta release brings some big changes. We have redesigned the way you keep up to date with your friends’ contributions. You can now follow anyone on the Anook with one click, same as following games or nooks.

And we are super exited to introduce the first implementation of our brand new live streaming feature, which allows users to integrate their Twitch.tv Live Streams into their Anook profile and games. All you need to do, is link your Anook account with Twitch.tv once (see Account Settings) and your stream automatically updates on Anook. Plus, you can tag your stream with pretty nice tags…

See you soon!

BBC News – Brains of Buddhist monks scanned in meditation study

“Meditation research, particularly in the last 10 years or so, has shown to be very promising because it points to an ability of the brain to change and optimise in a way we didn’t know previously was possible.”

When one relaxes into a state of oneness, the neural networks in experienced practitioners change as they lower the psychological wall between themselves and their environments, Dr Josipovic says.

And this reorganisation in the brain may lead to what some meditators claim to be a deep harmony between themselves and their surroundings.
